The day started very optimistically. We woke up into the sunny morning with the blue sky and no wind. You could see the smiles on the pilots´ faces. Everybody thought the weather would be more than satisfying. The reality was quite different. The tasks were aimed mainly to the northern hills where the clouds slowly started to spreading out and they created a continuous layer. That unabled the thermals to form and made the flying complicated. Watching the radars we slowly started to doubt the suitability of the chosen tasks. Pilots tried their best, but despite that lots of them were not able to complete them and outlanded. Those with the engine were trying till the sunset. Standing on the tower checking for the coming gliders was more than disappointing. Many outlandings were reported and the gliders on final were mainly those with the engine. The ridge of the hight pressure did not move to our area sufficiently. Despite this pessimistic review of today all the classes were valid and the tousand points disciplines were achieved:) Don´t be sad, tomorrow should be better:P
