The big question over yesterday's flights is, why did so many land out in 15m? Only 11 out of 29 completed the task.

Were they unlucky in finding an area of thunderstorms that could have been avoided? Could a different task have given them a better chance?

Otherwise, a successful day with some multiple arrivals to entertain those on the ground.

The exuberance of arriving home led to 2 points at Briefing: no low slow passes, please after one glider made

a final turn over the airfield having first flown down it at 30m relatively slowly. And, roll out straight ahead, resisting the siren call to execute a high-speed turn-off to your trailer however far you may have to tow the glider back. Someone may be very close behind and gliders don't have wing mirrors!

There is no need for risky arrivals since Nitra operates a finish ring every day rather than a line to swoop over.
