Successful day!

Yesterday, Domink told us that today will be a flying day. He said he "felt it in his bones". Fortunatelly, he was right:)

After a long time of non-flyable weather the situation has changed. Despite the morning fog and typical cloudy morning sky we hoped for a small window to come that will allow us to come. It did.

First launch from the world class started at 1pm. The thermals were weak and the cloud bases were low. The organizators decided to wait a little with other classes. Before 14:30 all gliders were in the air. The tasks were not about 100km long  and the weather looked quite good from the ground. After a long time we finally saw the sun and cumulus clouds. Landings started shortly before 4pm. Most of the gliders from all classes were able to make it home. There were some outlandings as well. Taking to the pilots they did not complain. Accoarding to their words it was very important to be in the right interval. Some were, some were not. And that made the difference.

Let´s hope tomorrow will be at least as good as today and pilots will have an opportunity to fly again.
