Some more pictures in the gallery... Special thanks to Andre Weidlich for photos from training day as well as from the cockpit and Mr. Palo from Oponice village who had 2 gliders outlanded almost in his garden. Promt reaction :-)

Back to yesterday contest: there are 27 pilots out of all 3 classes who managed to fly over 100km, out of them 15 did complete the task. As you can see on the left panel, we have 2 preliminary winners. We would like to congratulate to all for their dedication, but let us highlight Tamas Ferenc on 73 as the only CLUB class pilot who fulfilled the task!

Officially announced on the frequency: the day is cancelled. Despite, engine of towplanes running as the weather is nicely flyable for local termics... and some pilots are about to take an advantage of what the day offers. Our testing Blanik cruises in 600m with 0,3 - 0,4 m climbs

2008-03-23 12:07:09

The start is postponed for 12:30, keeping silence while observing the sky

Everybody gathered on the grid to see and hear what did organisers prepare for today. The danger of showers looms from Austria direction, we do not let us frighten away. All tasks are prepared for minimum 100km distance and again keeping close to Nitra.

The scoring office is finishing the calculation. Not to speak too soon, but eather... it seems like for 15M and OPEN class the yesterday contest day will be valid

2008-03-23 10:31:27

2nd day briefing introduced today's hardly predictable weather situation. We will be monitoring the development and share up-to-date info on the second briefing on the grid: see you there at 11:30

2008-03-23 09:27:59

We are very proud to welcome Pribina Cup former winner (plus numerous other precious trophies) - Sebastian Kawa, who will be flying WK in OPEN class

2008-03-23 08:40:54

Photos, anecdotes, links to country team's websites that you wish to share with your colleagues on Pribina web are welcome (look for Viera in the INFO Office)
