There are some pilots, but we can count them with the fingers, who decided to try the conditions themselves. Sure, the day itself is pleasant, no wind, no precipitation - no stress soaring. Enjoy!

No. It does not work today. The cloud cover does not want to move and as so the thermals are not allowed to pop up. The day is officially cancelled.

The south looks better but here in Nitra we do not see any sight of activity. Launching at 14:00

Another 1/2 hour delay, for now we plan to launch at 13:00. The sky covered 8/8 we can see some blue in the south. We have the hope this will allow us to let them fly.

The Stratocumulus cloud layer moving South to North direction is expected to be eroding slowly and this means a chance for us to fly today. All classes have triangles in the southern lowlands with a turnpoint in Hungary. The first launch scheduled for 12:00.

9:00 briefing is over. The program was a bit richer as we sang "Happy birthday" to 3 participants: Vytautas Sabeckis, Przemyslaw Bartczak and VL copilot Hans Kubstrup for his 70years anniversary. Another 3 names gained applause for their wednesday performance as the daily winners. When going back to current meteo situation, this is about to develop so we meet us at 11:00 to see how does it look like up to date.
