We would like to appologise for the incorrect information in the Bulletin nr1 regarding the third party insurance for sailplanes valid in EU. There was an miscalculation of approx. conversion to EUR. The correct numbers are as follows:
Current EU insurance requirements are:
• Gliders with certified MTOM up to 499kg - 750 000 SDR (approx. 710 910 EUR)
• Gliders with certified MTOM from 500 up to 1000kg - 1 500 000 SDR (approx. 1 421 820 EUR)
