First Day of the competition
Speaking of weather, today was quite unpredictable. We woke up into the sunny morning and it seemed like a nice day for flying. Unfortunately, the outlook did not seem that optimistic. Therefore we decided to postpone the opening briefing, start gridding and see what the weather will do. First briefing was very nice (beside the cold in the hangar:), Vlado went through the main organization stuff and procedures and then told us something about the weather. Despite the sunny beginning of the day, low cloud layer slowly covered the sky and the day had to be canceled. Some pilots decided to try ridge flying above Zobor and I hope they had nice time over there. For Saturday we expect rainy day so you have more time to prepare for the contest, relax and we hope to see some nice competition days later on.
