Fourth day
Today we´ve completed the grid on the runway 15, anyway the southern winds did not make us too happy task-wise. Club class and 15-meters class took off, but many of them have landed back, so we decided to interrupt the towing and due to the cloud layer, making the thermals from too weak to none, the tasks were finally cancelled for all of the classes. A quite good number of the pilots anyway have flown for fun - on the ridge, in the thermals which later became suitable in some areas to the north and had fun. Someone had reached Uhersky Brod and the top allowed altitudes as well. The hero of the day is anyway Piotrek from Poland who took off as a first glider and landed at the sunset in Partizanske as the time of the day and strong headwind have proven to bee too difficult for return to Nitra. Now is the beer´n´schnitzel time. Have a good evening and a good night too!
