The second day of competition proved to be another resounding success as pilots tackled the familiar task from the previous day with confidence and skill. Despite the stronger winds, pilots demonstrated remarkable performance in both the open and club classes.
In the open class, where the wind provided a favorable push, pilots effortlessly soared to speeds of around 100 km/h, showcasing their mastery of the skies and the high-performance capabilities of their gliders. Meanwhile, in the club class, pilots maintained steady progress, achieving speeds averaging around 80 km/h, a testament to their adaptability and precision in the air.
This collective achievement underscored the professionalism and determination of our pilots, validating the contest day.
Looking ahead, we anticipate that the same task will be set for the next day of competition. We eagerly anticipate another day of thrilling challenges and achievements on the ridges of Zobor and Tribeč.
