Pilots are asked to complete a questionnaire today about their reactions to the use of a finish ring instead of a finish line.
The main question is: is it a contribution to safer competition finishes?
We all love to see high speed finishes over the field but...
Though the rest day, after 8 difficult flying days, made more tiring by high temperatures and high humidity, was very necessary yesterday, it was a bit frustrating to see a glorious sky chock full of Cu throughout the day, tantalising pilots on the ground.
Great for sightseeing in the beautiful old centre of Bratislava though...
Good morning, Having had a good rest yesterday, we are all ready to go.
However, the rainy spell is taking a little longer to clear our area than expected, so briefing is delayed until 11.00.
First launch not before 12.00. Hoping for a task in the afternoon.
