Competition - 25th Apr 2011

2011-04-25 19:31:57

All pilots are counted, there was no reported damage from the outlandings. The tasks probably won't be valid.

2011-04-25 16:43:15

Landings are in process. Unfortunatelly, the situation from yesterday is repeating. Pilots are returning from the task not being able to complete it and many trailers are leaving the airport. It seems like the weather is against us.

2011-04-25 13:44:16

Tows are in good progress in spite of glitches like scrappy tow hooks, disobedient undercarriages and slight tail wind. Launches should be completed any minute. Cloud bases are in 1000 meters, it's going to be another tricky weather today.

 Update from the CD:

The Open class flies task variant B today.

20 meter task variant B.

Club class task variant C.

15 meter class task variant A.

Briefing is over. Even though the sky above Nitra looks promising there is precipitation forecasted north of Nitra. Tasks are set towards south and east 172km to 255km long. First launches planned at 12:00 loc.
