The registration will start early January and will last until the end of February 2013. The selection criteria will be the same as in 2012. For that purpose we intend to use only IGC Ranking list position and number of Pribina Cups flown in the past to get the right sequence of the pilots.

The Farewell Party started at 17:00 with the pricegiving ceremony. Some people had already left right. There was a long way home ahead of them. Some went to FCC for registration. Pricegiving ceremony was nice. After that the life rock band showed us a little perfomance. There was goulash, beer, kofola and good atmosphere with good people. We hope everyone enjoyed the time spent in Nitra and hope to see you next year;)
The winners of Pribina cup 2012 are:

The briefing is over and the weather do not allow us to fly today. Our area is being influenced by the low pressure. Therefore there are no tasks for today. Farewell party and prize giving ceremony starts at 17:00. Goulash, free beer and a rock band is planned. Hope to see you all there!
A Suprisingly Good Day!
After a rest day everybody was excited to hear a good news from the meteorologist with the promise of a flyable day. When we saw the first sun shines and the blue sky we believed that there is a pretty good chance to fly. Despite that high clouds and even rainshowers were expected later in the afternoon. Therefore assigned area tasks were set up.
Launching started at 12:00. Cumulus clouds started to form and soon high clouds dissolved. The temperature raised up to 18 degrees. Nobody believed that the weather would turned out to be that good. Around 1pm the sky looked like in Australia and we knew that the weather was underestimated and tasks should have been longer.
First final was announced shortly before half past three. Landing have started. All gliders were safely home before five pm. It was definitely the best flying day of the competition. Cloud base over 2000 meters, thermals 4 mps. I hope everyone enjoyed the day and now it is time for beer ;)
