People at the airport are enjoying warm and sunny weather, the atmosphere is nice and calm. There are many cu clouds, some are growing to congestus clouds. Few outlandings have been reported so far.

Briefing News

Briefing is over and we have first racing tasks planned for today. The sun is shining, it is nice and warm outside, first cumulus clouds are above us. It seems for the rapid developement of the weather. Pilots are getting their gliders ready because the first launch is planned for 11:30. Tasks are following:

Our competition area is between the extending high pressure area from the north and low pressure area from the south. The air stratification is instable giving us good conditions to form strong updrafts. Rain shovers in the afternoon are expected. QNH 1018hPa.
